The Purpose of
THE EMPOWERED WEALTH FOUNDATION

The Empowered Wealth Foundation (the “Foundation”) has been formed for the purpose of creating a public charity with the broadest possible purposes permitted under the law, with the Foundation selecting on a case-by-case basis those charitable causes that it will support in a particular year.  As a result, it is the intention of the Foundation to be formed, and to operate exclusively, for scientific, educational, charitable, literary and religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “IRC”) or corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws.

It is the current intention of the Foundation to use the contributions that it receives primarily to assist other qualified 501(c)(3) organizations that the Foundation determines, on a needs-based analysis, to be appropriate recipients of funding, and for education which is centered on charitable giving and philanthropy (as more fully described below).  It is also possible that the Foundation will assist particular individuals who qualify for receipt of assistance from qualified charities under the guidelines advanced by the Internal Revenue Service from time to time.

With respect to the educational goals of the Foundation, the Foundation intends to have a particular emphasis on educating individuals and families, without regard to their levels of income and economic means, on the benefits of charitable giving and philanthropy.  This will include the development and distribution of literature and information, and eventually individual and group instruction, classes or seminars, regarding charitable giving in general, and the various options and opportunities for charitable giving which are available.  This educational effort will emphasize the social good and betterment of society that can be accomplished – no matter what the level of giving – when there is active, personal involvement by individuals and families in helping support the many worthwhile causes and public needs of their communities, which in many cases cannot otherwise be addressed without private charitable funding and assistance.  It will provide the recipients with information on the charitable needs of their communities and some of the many options that are available to them for helping meet the needs of those charitable causes that share their same goals, values and objectives.  It also will attempt to help people recognize and appreciate the personal satisfaction, growth and sense of accomplishment that individuals and families can receive when they turn their focus to helping and serving others, particularly those whose needs can only be met through the efforts and generosity of the rest of the community.  By this the Foundation hopes to instill and foster the principle of charitable giving as a central value in the lives of those who receive this education and instruction, increase awareness of many charitable needs which are not being met, and be a catalyst for increased charitable giving and personal involvement by all who receive this message.
